The UK

Thomas Garraway started selling tea at his general store in Exchange Alley in the City of London. In 1657, tea was not totally unknown drink, but still Garraway found the need to advertise, and wrote his famous advertisement named An Exact Description of the Growth, Quality and Vertes of the Leaf Tea. He explained tea like where tea came from, how it was produced and why it is healthy. Fourteen clauses claimed that tea would cure headaches, kidney problems and so on.

Now, the UK is famous for tea, especially its blended tea. One of the best tea taster in the UK is insured on his tongue for £1 million by his company.
