About Seeyok
Seeyok Tea Estate is a renowned Darjeeling tea garden known for its high-quality, organic teas. Located in the Mirik Valley, the estate benefits from its proximity to the Kanchenjunga Mountain and the Indo-Nepalese border.
The estate's tea bushes are predominantly Chinese varieties planted at altitudes ranging from 4,250 to 5,250 feet. This unique terroir contributes to the tea's distinctive muscatel character, particularly during the second flush.
Owned by the Mohan family, Seeyok is part of their Tea Promoters India company. The estate's commitment to sustainable practices, including organic farming and Fairtrade principles, has made it a respected name in the Darjeeling tea industry.
