Phoenix Dan Cong（凤凰单丛） is one of the Oolong teas produced in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, China.

It is classified into 13 types: 10 aromatic types and 3 others. For more information, see below. The one introduced here is the Guihua Xiang （桂花香） type, one of the fragrance types of Phoenix Dan Cong. As the name suggests, the Gui Hua Xiang type is characterised by the fragrance of Osmanthus (Gui hua), but this Phoenix Dan Cong has the fragrance of the osmanthus itself, which is a perfect example.

The flavour is completely osmanthus itself with a strong sweetness. There is a unique flavour namely Congyun(丛韵) of Phoenix Dan Cong, and a subtle astringency gives the tea its sharpness.

About Phoenix Dan Cong

Phoenix Dan Cong(凤凰单丛) has gone through a long process from wild to cultivated, from natural crosses to artificial selection, from sexual to asexual reproduction. There is currently one national-level improved cultivar and four provincial-level improved cultivars in Fenghuang Township. Each cultivar has a different aroma, with floral fragrance and con yun being the unique quality characteristics of Phoenix Dan Cong tea.

Phoenix Dan Cong is classified into 13 types, including 10 fragrance types and three others. The 10 fragrance types include Yellow Gardenia Fragrance（Huang Zhi Xiang:黄枝香）, Orchid Fragrance（Zhi Lan Xiang: 芝兰香）, Honey Orchid Fragrance（Mi Lan Xiang: 蜜兰香）, Osmanthus Fragrance（Gui Hua Xiang: 桂花香）, Magnolia Fragrance（Yu Lan Xiang: 玉兰香）, Ginger Flower Fragrance（姜花香:Jiang Hua Xiang）, Night Flower Fragrance（Ye Lai Xiang: 夜来香）, Jasmine Fragrance（Mo Li Xiang: 茉莉香）, Almond Fragrance（Xing Ren Xiang: 杏仁香） and Cinnamon Fragrance（Rou Gui Xiang: 肉桂香）, each of which has several cultivars under its umbrella. The other three types are new clones approved by the province – Phoenix（Fenghuang） Huang Jiang Xiang（凤凰黄枝香）, Phoenix（Fenghuang） Eight Immortal Dan Cong（凤凰八仙单丛） and Niao Ye Dan Cong tea（鸟叶单丛茶）.

In case of bank transfer, items will be dispatched after receiving money. It takes about 2-3 days for Hokkaido, Kyushu and Okinawa, and for the rest area it takes about 1-2 days.
